OUR HISTORY
We would like to give you an insight about the history of our hotel. Our facility is embossed of a long faily tradition and is in ownership of the family Anzer since 1885.
Founded as pub over the years the house evolved to a cozy landly hotel and was extended multiple times.
In front of the house on the market place of Oberlind earlier a busy life could be found.
In the year 1885 the former pub was bought by Johann Michal Anzer (*1862 in Sölitz, + 1942 in Oberlind) and his wife Margareta Anzer (geb. Lehner, *1863 in Reissach, +1932 in Oberlind) for just 142 Deutsche Mark. Johann Michael Anzer was also Mayor of Oberlind at this time.
In the year 1927 the house was owned by Josef Anzer (*1889 in Oberlind, +1958 in Oberlind), the son of the couple.
Also he was mayor of Oberlind at this time and married Franziska Anzer (geb. Wildenauer, *1894 in Oberlind, +1976 in Oberlind).
Connecting to a long family tradition in the year 1953, Erich Anzer (*1923 in Oberlind), the father of the today’s owner received the property rights of the hotel and married Anna Anzer (geb. Sauer, *1925 in Strassenhäuser, + 1996 in Oberlind).
In 1961 the hotel was demolished and built up completely new. On the right side you can find a picture of the shell of 1961.
In the year 1990 the property rights were received by Erich Anzer (*1962 in Oberlind) and Gabriele Anzer (geb. Knechtel, *1959 in Altenstadt/ Vohenstrauß). Until today the hotel is run by family Anzer.
